Deb Ebbrell
Deb is our Pre-School Manager and holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, a Level 3 Early Years SENCo qualification, and an NPQ in Early Years Leadership.
Deb first became involved with the Pre-School when her daughter attended back in 2009. She went on to serve on the committee for two years before joining the staff team in 2011. Since then, Deb has continued to bring her experience, knowledge and passion for early years education to the Pre-School.
Linda de Carles
Linda is our Deputy Pre-School Manager and has Level 4 qualification in Childcare.
Linda has worked at the Pre-School since 1994 with a short break in 1997 when she had her youngest daughter, she has also worked on the committee and all her children attended the Pre-School.
Lisa Hooper
Lisa is our Operations Assistant and is responsible for the Pre-School's administration.
Lisa's 3 children all attended the Pre-School. Lisa started as a dedicated committee member in 2019 until she moved into the operations role back in September 2022.
Jo Smith
Jo is an Early Years Practitioner and has been part of the Pre-School team since 2022. She holds a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
Jo has a long-standing connection with the Pre-School, having attended herself as a child, as well as sending all four of her children to the Pre-School. Jo brings her personal experience, professional knowledge and passion for early years to her role within the Pre-School team.
Lauren Ronson
Lauren qualified at Cirencester College in 2007, achieving a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. She has over ten years of experience working in childcare and early years settings.
After taking a short career break to have her own children, Lauren returned to the early years sector and joined our pre-school team in 2023. Lauren is a dedicated and caring Early Years Practitioner who enjoys supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
Lauren’s experience and knowledge make her a valued member of our team.
Deb Ebbrell is responsible for SEN and Safeguarding Children. All staff attend regular training to keep up to date with current practice and to supplement their knowledge in different areas. They also attend Child Protection, First Aid and Food Hygiene training.
We have a volunteer committee, many of whom are local parents, who meet regularly to discuss the running of the Pre-School with staff and parents, fundraising matters and activities. The Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer can all be contacted through Stratton Pre-School.
